This project is for the phased renovation of an approximately 208,000 GSF, eight-story plus basement building that contains laboratory, administrative, and research space. Built in the 1970’s, this building is cast-in-place construction with MEP systems that warrant special construction due to the sophistication and complexity of the program and operations housed in the building. The building will remain occupied throughout construction and remain 24/7/365 operational. The Construction Manager is The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co.

Request for Qualifications for the following one (1) Trade Contractor Package: Early Electrical Infrastructure ($7,448,195), for Bunker Hill Community College - New Academic Student Success Center - Building E Renovation, Boston, MA. This project is for construction of a new building, partial renovation of E Building (constructed in 1973), demolition of a modular building, and replacement of primary electrical infrastructure on the Bunker Hill Community College Charlestown Campus. This project involves phased replacement of the campus electrical service and phased removal of portions of the existing service as a predecessor to a larger building project. The Construction Manager is Bond Building Construction Co., Inc.

Request for Qualifications for Trade Contractors for the following four (4) Trade Contractor Packages: Early Fire Protection Sprinkler System ($35,000); Early Plumbing ($83,000); Early HVAC ($260,000); Early Electrical ($250,000), for Westfield State University - Renovate Parenzo Hall/Demo Mod Hall, Westfield, MA. This project is for renovations to Parenzo Hall to better fit the current needs of Westfield State University. The project will include addition of HVAC, sprinkler system, new windows, asbestos removal, updates for Building Code/ADA compliance, updates to Dever Auditorium and demo of Mod Hall. Request for Qualifications for Trade Contractors for the following two (2) Trade Contractor Packages: Masonry ($2,280,447); Waterproofing, Dampproofing & Caulking ($1,782,150), for the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital Replacement Building Renovation, Boston, MA. This project is a comprehensive modernization of an existing 420,000 GSF hospital building in the South End neighborhood of Boston to serve as a replacement for the existing Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. The existing building consists of two interconnected buildings. Most of the building systems will be modernized in some fashion, and the remainder will be replaced in their entirety. The CM-at-Risk firm is Gilbane Building Co.
