Request for Qualifications for Construction Management at Risk Services, State Transportation Building and Massachusetts Information Technology Center (MITC) - Renovation and Modernization, Boston and Chelsea, MA. This project will renovate and modernize interior office spaces at the State Transportation Building, in Boston, and the MITC in Chelsea. Work at the State Transportation Building includes infill of an interior stair, mechanical upgrades to the VAV system, reconfiguration of interior office partitions and upgrading the finishes to approximately 63,000 usable square feet. Work at the MITC includes construction of a radio room and exterior radio antenna, building improvements to the main lobby/vestibule, reconfiguration of interior office partitions, and upgrading the office finishes. Third Street Courthouse - Envelope Repairs, Cambridge, MA. This project includes renovation and reorganization of approximately 5,500 SF of interior space across three buildings; a decrease of current capacity to allow for single-occupancy rooms while addressing existing ligature issues; the addition of large community rooms and individual therapy rooms; large, shared restroom spaces to be divided into smaller, single-use shower, toilet, lavatory rooms; repairing or replacing roofing systems and window systems; major building infrastructure repairs and replacement; site-related alterations for accessibility; and additional site work.
