In Fiscal Year 2020-21, Public Works awarded over $1 billion worth of contracts, which helped create 12,394 jobs. The agency’s diverse workforce is comprised of approximately 4,000 employees in nearly 500 job classifications, including professional, technical, clerical, and skilled crafts.

Excavation in the west basin of the SG to remove the clogging clay layer, which is expected to substantially increase the percolation rate.
