The proposed work includes the installation of new fiber optic infrastructure, including approximately 16,800 lineal feet of 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit via horizontal directional drilling, 20,900 lineal feet of 2 x 1.5-inch underground HDPE fiber conduit (2 parallel conduit runs pulled together) via horizontal directional drilling, 7,250 lineal feet of new aerial fiber, approximately 54,000 lineal fiber of fiber optic cable (various strand count), the placement of underground fiber vaults and handholes, and the subsequent fiber optic cable installation and testing in the City of Hudson, Ohio. The proposed work consists of the upgrading of Softener #4 at the City of Hudson Water Treatment Plant located at 572 W. Streetsboro Road.
