The Lower Yukon School District (LYSD) invites qualified applicants to submit proposals to provide development and instruction of a basic flight program for the OIE NYCP Grant awarded to LYSD titled Kusilvak Career Academy: Sustaining Workforce Readiness and Rebuilding Student Learning Impacted by COVID-19 in Lower Yukon School District. This contract will be from the date of award through September 30, 2025. The estimated dollar value of awarded contract is not to exceed $45,000 annually (per federal fiscal year 10/1 to 9/30) and $135,000 over the term of this contract. The scope of work includes on-site work at the District’s Kusilvak Career Academy located at 4335 Wisconsin Street, Anchorage, AK 99517.

This contract will be for approximately three grant years, ending September 30, 2025. The estimated dollar value of awarded contract is not to exceed $84,000 ($28,000 per year). This can be performed remotely and does not require travel to Kusilvak Career Academy.

LYSD Fire Inspection FY23-25
The Lower Yukon School District is currently requesting proposals from qualified firms to perform fire safety systems inspections and reporting for ten school sites located in the Yukon Delta, Alaska, as well as our Career and Technical Center located in Anchorage, Alaska.
The successful respondent will be required to provide inspection and reporting services of the fire protection systems for each of the schools belonging to the Lower Yukon School District. The Schools included are located at Alakanuk, Emmonak, Hooper Bay, Kotlik, Marshall, Mountain Village, Pilot Station, Russian Mission, Scammon Bay and Nunam Iqua.
