It is the intent and purpose of this bid to solicit proposals for the furnishing of Grade #1 Diesel Fuel and Unleaded Gasoline for locations listed on the Areas Sheets to the Lower Yukon School District (LYSD). This is a 1-season bid (summer of 2020). This is an all or nothing bid. All locations must be bid. The award will go to the bidder with the lowest total cost.

The Lower Yukon School District (LYSD) is soliciting responses to this request for quotes to provide vended meals (“catering”) to our Anchorage CTE Center located at 4335 Wisconsin Street, Anchorage AK 99517. We expect to house approximately 50 LYSD students from the 11th and 12th grade. There will be no K-10th graders. There is no guarantee of the number of breakfasts and lunches to be purchased, but we expect it will be around 50 breakfasts and lunches for every day that school is in session. Our program will follow the Anchorage School District calendar and have a duration of 9 week sessions. The first 9-week session is expected to start October 21, 2019 and end December 19, 2019. The second 9-week session is expected to start January 6, 2020 and end March 6, 2020. The third 9-week session is expected to start March 16, 2020 and end May 21, 2020. Our location does not have a commercial kitchen and there is no way to prepare food. All food that is delivered needs to be ready to eat. There will be no cooking on site. We have a 3-part sink, a dishwasher, a tabletop counter, and two mobile carts- a hot cart and a cold cart. The architectural layout of the facility is attached. The successful bidder will need to prepare production reports for each day as part of the NSLP recordkeeping requirements and provide those to LYSD when the meals are delivered. The 21 day breakfast cycle and 21 day lunch cycle are attached. The evaluation will be based solely on price. Any contract issued will be governed by the attached Vended Meals Agreement.

The Lower Yukon School District is currently requesting proposals from qualified firms to perform fire safety systems inspections and reporting for ten school sites located in the Yukon Delta, Alaska. The successful respondent will be required to provide inspection and reporting services of the fire protection systems for each of the schools belonging to the Lower Yukon School District. The Schools included are located at Alakanuk, Emmonak, Hooper Bay, Kotlik, Marshall, Mountain Village, Pilot Station, Russian Mission, Scammon Bay and Nunam Iqua.
