OSU-240592 BRT - Condensate Tank Replacement
Description
The steam-powered condensate receiver tank in the vault outside Biomedical Research Tower (BRT) shall be demolished. A new stainless steel condensate receiver packaged skid including electrically powered pumps and piping is specified to be installed in the mechanical room 0190M and reconnected to the BRT utility system.

OSU-250070 - Lazenby Hall - Rm 121 Renovation
Lazenby Hall Suite 121 will be renovated to support incoming faculty
department members and their lab personnel. Suite 121 is currently
fit out with single occupant research rooms and supporting
mechanical, electrical, and technology infrastructure. The intent of
this renovation is to remove the small research rooms and create an
open environment to support new research teams. This renovation
requires hazardous materials abatement, demolition, ADA
compliance review, and interior finish upgrades. Mechanical and
electrical design will include HVAC, electric, IT coordination, and fire
alarm modifications

Project includes architectural finishes, minor changes to power, data and lighting, minor updates to plumbing, review for ADA and Building Code Compliance and a Permit set of drawings. The project includes repairs to the exterior masonry façade at the corners of 3 academic buildings on the campus of The Ohio State University (Smith Laboratory, Bolz Hall, and the Animal Sciences Building). The masonry repairs include the replacement of the through-wall flashing, replacement of steel shelf angles/lintels at isolated distress, brick masonry replacement at isolated distress, installation of through-wall anchors, sawcutting of existing and new brick masonry expansion joints, stone patching at isolated distress, joint sealant abatement and installation, masonry cleaning and the application of a clear water repellent.

The electrical equipment providing power to these panels will be in a crawl space below the lower seat deck. Power to feed these panels originate in both the east and west main electrical rooms.
