The project consists of replacement of an existing continuous steel beam bridge over the Black Fork of Mohican River with a new three span continuous reinforced concrete slab bridge and minimal roadway approach work in Richland County, Ohio. Disadvantaged Business (DBE) Requirement. DBE participation goals (subcontracts, materials, supplies) have been set on this project for those certified as DBEs in accordance with 49 CFR, Part 26, and qualified to bid with ODOT under Chapter 5525 of the Ohio Revised Code. The project RIC-TR138-1.19 consists of a bridge replacement with prestressed non-composite box beams on reinforced capped pile abutments on Brubaker Creek Road in Franklin/Weller Townships, Richland County, Ohio. ENCOURAGING DIVERSITY, GROWTH AND EQUITY (EDGE) REQUIREMENT. EDGE participation goals have been set on this project. The goal may be met if the Contractor is EDGE certified or by subcontracting to certified EDGE firms. EDGE certified firms are those who have been certified by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services.
