2024 Street Maintenance Program
The City of Grove City, through the City Administrator, will receive sealed bids for the 2024 Street Maintenance Program via Bid Express, until 10:00 a.m. local time on Mar. 15, 2024 and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. Grove City will neither open nor accept bids received after that time. Subject to the right of Grove City to reject any or all bids, Grove City will award contracts to the bidder(s) submitting the lowest and best bid(s). The work for which Grove City is inviting bids consists of the following: Contract A • Base Bid: Over 54,600 square yards of asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs, over 8,000 square yards of asphalt reconstruction, spot and continuous curb placement, curb ramp replacement, brick crosswalk repair and other related work. • Additional Bid 1: Over 1,800 square yards of shared-use path asphalt resurfacing with spot full-depth repairs and over 4,100 square yards of asphalt parking lot resurfacing and other related work. • Additional Bid 2: Over 5,500 square yards of asphalt parking lot resurfacing and other related work. • Additional Bid 3: Over 3,800 square yards of asphalt reconstruction with spot curb replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 4: Over 5,100 square yards of shared-use path asphalt resurfacing with spot curb replacement and other related work. • Additional Bid 5: Installation of over 700 square yards of new asphalt parking lot, concrete curb ramps, landscaping, topsoil, seeding and other related work. Birch Bark Trail Extension and Harrisburg Pike (US 62) and Demorest Drive Intersection Improvements
Birch Bark Trail Extension: The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction of approximately 690 feet of roadway extension, including curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, lighting, and storm sewers. This project also includes abandonment of existing 6" and 8" water mains, west of the Birch Bark Trail Extension. Harrisburg Pike (US 62) and Demorest Drive Intersection: The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for widening of the roadway to accommodate the addition of northbound and southbound left turn lanes. Windsor Park Elevated Water Storage Tank Altitude Valve Replacement
