The City of Hilliard Recreation and Parks Department is seeking proposals to replace a 2004 Eldorado Aero Elite, twenty-eight passenger bus on a Chevy C5500 chassis, with a gas 8.1 GM engine. The City desires to replace the Current Unit with a new unit that meets the following specifications: • 30-passenger (up to 32 passenger) bus, to include a chair lift and two accessible spots • Heavy duty chassis to carry the load of passengers • Above head storage (open) • Plenty of grab rails (enter & exit) • Robust heating and cooling to serve passengers • Back-up camera • PA for inside bus • Lap belts for passengers • Upgraded driver's seat The City is requesting two quotes that include the specifications above: 1. FRA-Hilliard-Main Street Safety Improvement Projects (CIP T-142/T-147, PID 113435)
The Project consists of two parts that are located along Main Street in Hilliard, Ohio. Part 1 is the Main Street Pedestrian Safety Improvements and consists of installation of two crosswalks including mast-arm mounted RRFBs, medians, curb ramps, signing & pavement marking, and pavement microsurfacing between Luther Lane and Scioto Darby Road. Part 2 is the Tier 2 Main Street Roundabout Modifications and consists of the installation of raised crosswalks, curb ramps, signing & pavement marking, traffic signal modifications, fiber installation, and pavement milling & overlay at the Scioto Darby Road roundabout. The Engineer's Estimate for this Bid is $1,070,000. No bid will be accepted if it exceeds the City Engineer’s estimate on the base bid by more than ten percent (10%). Municipal Park Barrier Fence (CIP LB-5)
- Bid schedule was added for paper submissions. **Addendum No. 01 issued November 18, 2020** The Municipal Park Barrier Fence Project (CIP LB-5) (the "Project") consists of the construction of 1770 LF of treated southern yellow pine barrier railing, consisting of 8" by 8" posts and 4" by 12' rails, along 495 LF south of the Hilliard Family Aquatic Center and 1275 LF east and north of diamonds 5 and 6 in the Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park. The Project include one (1) alternate that provides for the entire 1770 LF of railing to contain a decorative notch as shown on the plans.
