Bids are being solicited for the Miamisburg Public Works Garage and Salt Barn Roof Replacement Project. The Service Garage project includes the removal of the existing roof system down to the metal deck, replacement of insulation and membrane materials, and installation of a new fully adhered 60-mil Fleece Back KEE roofing system meeting NRCA and manufacturer standards for 120 MPH wind uplift. The Salt Barn project includes removal of all existing roofing materials, skylights, and flashings; replacement of any deteriorated decking; infill of skylight openings with new decking; installation of new underlayment, drip edge, flashings, and a new 30-year rated architectural shingle system. Bids scope, plans, and all questions/responses will be available only through the Bid Express website and bids will only be accepted via the Bid Express website. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. The owner will host optional site visits on Tuesday, October 28 and Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. each day at the Public Works Garage (600 N. Main St., Miamisburg, OH 45342) for any bidders interested in visiting the site. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce. The City of Miamisburg, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids to waive any informalities or irregularities, and further, reserves the right to accept any bids or parts of bids which it deems to best serve the interest of the City of Miamisburg, Ohio.
