This price inquiry is for vehicles for the COMMUNITY, UNIVERSITY AND EDUCATIONAL PURCHASING ASSOCIATION MEMBERS REGIONAL COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS (CUE-COG). The term of the resultant price agreement shall commence on January 1, 2024 and terminate on December 31, 2024. The CUE-COG Members reserve the right to renew the resultant price agreement (1) one year at a time, up to 2 times, subject to mutual agreement of both parties. The CUE-COG Members also reserve the right to extend the resultant price agreement a maximum of thirty (30) days beyond the normal expiration date. Many members of CUE-COG are able to purchase vehicles through the State of Ohio Contracts. The State of Ohio Contracts for vehicles are typically for "build to order" vehicles. Further, various manufacturers have early cut-off dates for the placement of orders under the State of Ohio contracts. Although the State of Ohio contracts provide an excellent service, our members have needs for vehicles on an immediate delivery basis or may need to purchase a vehicle after the cut-off dates. The purpose of this request for proposal is to provide CUE-COG members with a means to purchase a vehicle at a competitive price and meet their individual time requirements. Vehicles ordered from this contract may be for immediate delivery (off a dealer's lot) or custom ordered. Some CUE-COG members have fleet numbers and may be eligible for fleet discounts offered by the manufacturer. Some CUE-COG members are government entities (state or local) and may be eligible for manufacturer's government pricing.
