The building renovations will include heating, ventilating, and air conditioning; electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler systems; ceilings and lighting fixtures; a new elevator; security and low-voltage systems; information technology equipment; telecommunication upgrades; and code-compliant public and staff restrooms. This project includes the Countywide Community Workforce Agreement (CWA).

The structural scope involves the installation of a half-ton crane rail hoist system on the exterior of the station.
