This project consists of the construction of approximately 6,000 linear feet of 12 feet wide concrete pathway. The walkway will parallel Wards Creek from the Mall of Louisiana to the existing Siegen Lane Right of Way. Within these 6,000 feet two bridges will be constructed. One spanning Wards Creek and the other spanning a drainage tributary to Wards Creek.

One story building on typical concrete slab with glass and steel structure and a built up roof system. Total structure is approximately 4,400SF.

This project will include a new playground, concrete paths, and paving a portion of the existing gravel parking lot with asphalt and concrete curbing. Alternates include additional connecting sidewalks, and a small concrete walking loop.

Retrofitting a new pool shell in the place of the existing pool shell, restroom renovations, Replacement of the filtration system, Etc...

This Contract shall consist of the removal of previously determined asbestos containing building materials, removal of building contents, demolition of the building and other miscellaneous site construction as detailed in the construction drawings & specifications. The concrete slab under the gym floor is to remain. The concrete slab under the recreational building is to be removed as part of Alternates 1 and 2, if accepted by Owner; otherwise the concrete slab will remain. Areas adjacent to the concrete slab remaining will require and surrounding backfilling the lot, and seeding.
