The 173rd Fighter Wing mission is an AETC F-15C pilot training base in support of 26 PAA and 32 TAI F-15 aircraft and is scheduled for conversion to F-35 aircraft in FY26. Located at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls, OR, B216 requires an adequately sized, properly configured, environmentally safe, secure Aircraft Maintenance Unit Shop in support of 26 PAA F-35A aircraft.
