SB 1670 - Capital Area Pathways Project - Wards Creek Trail-Siegen Extension
The project consists of the construction of a concrete pathway (generally 12 feet in width) following along the northeastern boundary of Wards Creek demo and connecting the previously constructed path just west of Siegen Lane to a location on South Mall Drive near Tuscany Villas Apts including miscellaneous drainage items and appurtenances as required to complete the project as shown on the plans.

SB 1658 Zoo Asphalt & Drainage
This project consists of the following work items: • Maintenance Access Road Improvements: 1.5-in asphalt overlay of approximately 760-ft of the existing maintenance access road (approximately 20-ft wide), with integrated speed bumps; Removal of existing stone base and surface course and replace with 7-in limestone base and 3-in asphalt overlay with an inverted crown (roadway section approx. 280-ft long by 20-ft wide); Grading, placement and striping of a new 200-ft by 20-ft asphalt parking apron. • Zoo Entry/Exit Road Improvements: Removal of approximately 330-sy of existing asphalt (south of the existing zoo entry gate) and construction of a new turnaround drive, including limestone base, 3” asphalt overlay, signage and striping. Install 6 new drainage inlet structures and approximately 1000-ft of 12-in CMP drainage pipe. Drainage will run from the zoo’s entry gate to Cypress Bayou. Approximately 900-sy of clearing and grubbing will be required to install the drainage. Zoo entry/exit road improvements also include an asphalt overlay of the existing crossover road between the entry and exit drives, approximately 250-sy. • Maintenance Access Road Improvements (Add Alternate): 1.5-in asphalt overlay of approximately 380-ft of the existing maintenance access road (approximately 20-ft wide).
