CONSTRUCTION OF VARIABLE THICKNESS ASPHALTIC CONCRETE PAVEMENT,PAVEMENT GRINDING, PAVEMENT MARKING, ETC, located at (ST216150102) Asphalt Overlays: W. Green Tree Rd. – N. 43rd St. to N. 60th St.; N. 55th St. – W. Lisbon Ave. to W. Burleigh St.; N. 84th St. – W. Mill Road to N. Burbank Ave.; W. Keefe Ave. – N. 94th St. to N. 100th St. Under this contractor has the option of submitting two (2) proposals for the Asphalt Overlay on the four locations listed. The first option, herein after referred to as Project No. 1, shall be ALL Plastic Pavement Marking. The second option, herein after referred to as Project No. 2, shall be ALL Epoxy Paint Pavement Markings. All work on both options shall be completed by August 5, 2015. Bids for one (1) or both proposals shall be submitted as separate proposals. Upon opening and reviewing of bids received, the City of Milwaukee will determine the project method reflecting the best interest of the City; a contractor will be awarded to the lowest, responsible bidder under that method. However, the contractors are hereby advised that the absolute low bidder, when considering all bids submitted, may not necessarily be awarded the contract.
