NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR SECURITY SERVICES FOR PUBLIC WORKS CENTRAL YARD AND VARIOUS FIELD OFFICE LOCATIONS (BRC0000396) PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that Public Works requests proposals for two Security Services for Public Works Central Yard and Various Field Office Locations (BRC0000396) contracts. Each of these contracts have been designed to have a potential maximum contract term of 4 years, consisting of an initial 1-year term and three potential additional 1 year renewal options. Minimum Mandatory Requirements: At the time of proposal submission, proposers must meet all minimum requirements set forth in the RFP documents including, but not limited to: Important: The use of subcontractors to fulfill any of the minimum mandatory requirements or perform any work under this contract is not permitted. 1. Proposer must possess a valid and active California issued private patrol operator license at the time of proposal submission. 2. Proposer must have a minimum of 5 years of experience providing security services for private and/or public institutions. 3. Proposer's supervising employee must have a minimum of 3 years of experience supervising security service operations. 4. Proposer must submit a Bid Guarantee of 10 percent of the proposed annual price, as specified in Part I, Section 2.A.15, Bid Guarantee. A separate Bid Guarantee must be submitted for each Service Location Group the Proposer is submitting a proposal for. (In accordance with Part I, Section 3.B, Proposal Submission, Item 6). 5. If awarded a contract, proposer must annually provide a faithful performance bond in the sum of not less than 50 percent of the annual contract price, as specified in Part II, Sample Agreement. There is no mandatory conference or walk-through requirement for this solicitation. However, it is the proposers' sole responsibility to do their due diligence and to contact the Contract Managers identified on Exhibit A, Scope of Work, Section A, Public Works Contract Managers on page A.1, to arrange any site visit and familiarize themselves with site locations and its requirements before submitting a proposal. Proposer must coordinate with the Contract Managers to arrange a date and time of the planned site visit prior to visiting any location. All site visits must be taken prior to the established proposal submission deadline. The proposal submission deadline will not be extended to allow for additional time to complete a site visit.
