In Fiscal Year 2020-21, Public Works awarded over $1 billion worth of contracts, which helped create 12,394 jobs. The agency’s diverse workforce is comprised of approximately 4,000 employees in nearly 500 job classifications, including professional, technical, clerical, and skilled crafts.

The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works (Public Works) is inviting proposals from qualified firms to provide On-Call Project Management and Related Services for Project Management Division III (PMD III) for work located throughout County of Los Angeles. Project Management Division III (PMD III) provides a wide variety of projects ranging support for road, bridge, flood control, sewer, water, and airport improvement construction projects. Resident Engineer projects may involve bridge construction, rehabilitation, widening or seismic retrofit; dam rehabilitation; storm drain or sewage pump plant construction or rehabilitation; major road reconstruction; construction of major storm drain systems; or other types of public works projects. PMD III supports infrastructure/horizontal construction. The objective of this solicitation is to select three qualified firms to provide the requested services.
