BIDS SHALL BE ACCEPTED ONLY FROM CONTRACTORS THAT ATTEND THE MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE TO BE HELD ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2024 AT 10 A.M., AT THE CADDO CORRECTIONAL CENTER, 1101 FORUM DRIVE, SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA 71107. PROJECT NAME: Air Handling Unit Upgrade Areas L & M at Caddo Correctional Center PROJECT CLASSIFICATION: Mechanical The general scope of the Project is as follows: The work includes replacement of five existing air handling unit chilled water coils, heating water coils, supply air fans, associated controls, and modification of existing piping, ductwork and electrical power. Complete Bid Documents may be obtained from EMA Engineering and Consulting, 9441 Stevens Road, Suite 200, Shreveport, Louisiana 71106, 318-425-4500. Deposits on documents shall be $100.00 per set fully refundable upon return of the Bid Documents in good condition. Documents may be examined, without charge, upon request. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base Bid and all alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond written in conformance with state law. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond on a form provided by the Parish and written in accordance with state law. SEALED BIDS will be received by the Parish of Caddo, Government Plaza, 505 Travis Street, 8th Floor Purchasing Division, Suite 850, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101 until 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 for the following project: REPLACEMENT OF LOCUST HILL ROAD BRIDGE CADDO PARISH PROJECT NUMBER 24 – 39 PROJECT CLASSIFICATION: Highway, Street and Bridge Construction SCOPE OF PROJECT: This work consists of providing all materials, labor and equipment required for the construction of a five-span precast concrete slab span bridge including, but not limited to, detour road culvert, earthwork, and paving, asphaltic concrete pavement, subgrade preparation, Class II base course construction, excavation, embankment and related work as described in the Contract Documents. Per LA R.S 38:2212, in order to bid the project, a complete set of Bid Documents must be obtained by the prime bidder at the office of Owen Engineering, LLC, 900 Market St., Suite 201, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101 upon receipt of _$100__ deposit (for each set of documents). The deposit is fully refundable to all bonafide prime bidders who submit a bid upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of bids.
