Blue Ash Summit Park Tower Observation Deck Retrofit
Removal and replacement of the guard at the observation deck of the Summit Park Tower. Remove existing MCM panels at the deck perimeter, reinforce connection angles as outlined in the structural drawings, replace vertical support stanchions, add decorative metal treatment shown in architectural drawings above existing glass guard.
Existing glass guard to remain or be removed and re-used. Decorative metal screening panels above. Screens above the glazing are intended to match existing decorative metal guard pattern at the tower terrace and bridge adjacent to the pond. Add stainless rope Webnet protection system at tower stairs, scope defined on sheet A5.5 of the drawings.
Alternate #1 – Stainless Steel Tube Stanchions
- Use Stainless steel HSS5x2 x5/16” in lieu of structural steel specification. See Architectural Sheet A5.1
Alternate #2 – Stainless Steel Plat Stanchions
- Use stainless steel plate 1-3/4”w by 4” d in lieu of structural steel specification. See Architectural Sheet A5.2

2022 Blue Ash Bridge Paint and Electric Project
There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting at: 4343 Cooper Road, Blue Ash, Ohio, 45242
at 10:00 AM to discuss the project and answer any questions.
The key scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to Electric, Lighting, and Painting.
The Ohio 126 Bridge underpass along Kenwood Road will be painted and retrofitted with lighting to create a gateway feature as drivers and pedestrians enter and exit the southern portion of Blue Ash. This work also includes, but is not limited to adding power receptacles, power switches, conduit, wire, lighting, power stations, and panels in two other key locations where hardscapes and landscapes will be performed by others along the Kenwood corridor.
Last day to answer questions for this project is February, 28, before 2:00 PM.

SUMMIT PARK ACCESS DRIVE AND PARKING LOT EXPANSION
THIS PROJECT CONSIST OF, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO PAVEMENT REMOVAL, EXCAVATION, GRADING, INSTALLATION OF A NEW ASPHALT PARK ACCESS DRIVE, COMPLETE WITH CURB AND SIDEWALK. INSTALLATION OF A BIOSWALE AND NEW STORM SYSTEM, INCLUDING CATCH BASINS AND MANHOLES. THIS PROJECT ALSO INCLUDES MILLING AND PAVING OF EXISTING SELECT PORTIONS OF PARKING LOT AND SIGNAGE, AND RESTORATION.
ALTERNATE #1 INCLUDES ADDITIONAL PAVEMENT REMOVED AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW SERVICE DRIVEWAY TO THE MAINTENANCE BUILDING.
