The Work for the Base Bid will consist of the resurfacing of West Hull Court, West Hull Drive from Liberty Road to U.S. 23, Hawthorn Boulevard from Liberty Road to U.S. 23; this portion of the work will be partially funded with an Ohio Public Works Commission grant. The Base Bid will also include locally-funded cold-in-place recycling (CIR) with an asphalt overlay of Hillside Drive, Tarpy’s Lane, Park Lane, and Orchard Lane. The Project also includes the following locally-funded Add Alternates: The Work for Add Alternate 1 will consist of the resurfacing of Chatham Lane The Work for Add Alternate 2 will consist of cold in-place recycling (CIR) with an asphalt overlay of Hickory Lane. The Work for Add Alternate 3 will consist of cold in-place recycling (CIR) with an asphalt overlay of Westwood Avenue. The Project has a time to Substantial Completion of 60 days. The Owner will issue a Notice to Proceed after a grant agreement is issued by the Ohio Public Works Commission, which is expected to be issued on July 1, 2021.

The work for this project is to include the bridge rehabilitation of the John Street bridge. This work consists of replacement of the existing 16’ wide non-composite box beams with a 20’ wide single span concrete slab bridge. The new concrete slab will be placed on the existing concrete spread footings. The project has a time to Substantial Completion of 60 days.

Reconstruction of taxilane pavements for T-Hangers A, B, C, and D at the Delaware Municipal Airport. The project duration is 65 days from Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion.

2021 Pavement Marking Maintenance Program will consist of the maintenance of various auxiliary pavement markings on specified streets within the City of Delaware. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 10:00 am. through the online Microsoft Teams platform (see Notice to Bidders for additional information). Bids will be opened through the Bidding Website on March 26, 2021 at 8:00 am.

New two lane roadway to extend Penick Avenue approximately 680 ft. to the intersection of Cobblestone Drive and Rock Creek Drive. Project will include storm sewers, water main extension, raised median island, curb and gutter, sidewalk, street trees, street lighting, and other miscellaneous items. Connection will be made to a proposed school bus driveway being constructed by others at Schultz Elementary School. The Project has a Substantial Completion date of July 8, 2021 (which is expected to be 90 days after Notice to Proceed).
