Bartlett and Moore Hall Modernization and Renewal The University of Alaska Fairbanks is seeking proposals from companies qualified and interested in providing Construction Manager at Risk services. The project scope affects all levels of Bartlett Hall and Moore Hall. Degraded restroom wall, floor and ceiling finishes will be removed to provide access to concealed plumbing and will be replaced with durable and low maintenance finishes. All horizontal copper plumbing and vertical cast iron stacks will be removed and replaced. Toilet partitions, bathroom and shower accessories and plumbing fixtures will be replaced. Mechanical ventilation systems will be repaired or replaced where required. Lighting throughout each building will be upgraded to energy efficient LEDs. Asbestos, lead based paints and any other hazardous materials will be surveyed, documented and abated where necessary. Sleeping quarters, lounges, laundries and other public spaces will also be renovated. Space in Hess Commons will be converted into ADA compliant restrooms. Construction Range: Over $5,000,000

Student Health and Counseling Center Renovations-Phase1 The Work consists of major interior demolition, asbestos abatement, and the construction of new framed walls, ceilings, doors, and finishes. Lighting will be converted from fluorescent to LED fixtures. Mechanical and plumbing will be modified as required to support the new room layouts. Construction Range: $500,000 - $1,000,000

O’Neill Roof Replacement The Work consists of the replacement of the O’Neill roof system with a 60-mil EPDM roof system. Work will require coordinated outages and temporary relocation of roof-mounted equipment, rerouting of penetrations through the roof, addition of an overflow rainleader system, and modifications to the existing stack guy wire supports. Construction Range: $750,000 - $1,500,000

Wood Center Subgrade Waterproofing The Work consists of demolition of concrete sidewalks and stairs, installation of a waterproofing membrane, and reconstruction of pathways along the north and northwest side of the Wood Center. Additive Alternate Work will raise the elevation of the concrete alleyway and associated ADA ramp into the lower level of the Wood Center. Construction Range: $0 - $1,000,000

SRC Basketball Hoop Replacements The Work consists of installing wall-mounted, power-operated, basketball backstops and gymnasium wall padding at the western court in the Student Recreation Center (SRC), with additive alternates to include additional courts. Work includes structural modifications and electrical work. Construction Range: $100,000 - $500,000
