The Utility Department has recently purchased a 2025 5500 Crew Cab Chassis 4x4 truck. The City is now requesting a buildout of an enclosed service body to be mounted on that chassis. Engineer's Estimate: $90,000.00

Perrysburg 2025 Sidewalk Program This project consists of repairing City sidewalks by lifting, leveling or grinding of any City sidewalk section that has been identified in need of repair or fully replacing sections that are beyond the repair specifications. The project will be awarded to the lowest and most responsive bidder based on the Grand Total Price of the Base Bid. As part of the 2024 Sidewalk Program approximately 28,920 sf of sidewalk was lifted, 1,440 sf of sidewalk was replaced and 176 lf of sidewalk was ground down. This project consists of milling and resurfacing, road widening, curb replacement, sidewalk replacement, paver installation, planter installation, and other appurtenances for the 300 block of Louisiana Avenue. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Ohio, Prevailing Wage Rates. The subsequent contract will require certificates of insurance and may require performance and payment bonds. In order to be considered responsive, the contractor and all subcontractors will need to comply with City Ordinance 08-2023 which was passed in April of 2023. The project will be awarded to the lowest and most responsive bidder based on the Grand Total Price of the Base Bid and any Alternatives that are accepted. In recent decades, the City of Perrysburg has undertaken extensive efforts to address environmental challenges, particularly those associated with its sewer collection system and wastewater treatment plant. These initiatives have been monitored and guided by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (Ohio EPA). The Ohio EPA Director's Final Findings and Orders, issued on December 19, 2023, delineate the regulatory framework and compliance mandates for the City of Perrysburg. The Orders primarily address critical issues such as Combined Sewer Overflows (CSOs) and Sanitary Sewer Overflows (SSOs), which have historically impacted the city's sewer infrastructure and the Maumee River. The document comprehensively outlines the city's progress in mitigating CSOs since the mid-1970s, including the submission of a Long Term Control Plan (LTCP) in 1996 and the execution of subsequent sewer separation projects. Despite these efforts, certain overflows persisted, necessitating the issuance of the Final Findings and Orders by the Ohio EPA to ensure continued compliance and further reduction of SSOs. The Orders stipulate specific directives for the City of Perrysburg to develop and implement a Sewer System Evaluation Study (SSES), a Capacity, Management, Operation, and Maintenance (CMOM) Program, and an SSO Elimination Plan. These measures are designed to achieve the systematic cessation of SSOs, enhance the management of the city's sewer system, and safeguard public health and the environment. The City of Perrysburg (City) is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQs) for engineering services to comply with Order (1)(c) of the fully executed DFFO.

In general, the work consists of a new fixed cover digester, a new membrane digester cover, new boilers and heat exchangers, and improvements to the digester gas and sludge piping. A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on October 30, 2024 at 1:30 PM at City of Perrysburg WWTP Facility located at 1 West Boundary Street, Perrysburg, Ohio. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is Mandatory. This contract is subject to the provision of State of Ohio, Prevailing Wage Rates.
