The City of Nashua, NH is seeking qualified consultant teams with considerable experience in urban design, land use and transportation planning, economic analysis, natural resources, arts and cultural resources, equity, sustainability, resiliency and community engagement to update the City’s Master Plan. The new, updated plan will provide the City‘s elected and appointed officials, property owners, businesses, developers, non-profits, institutions, residents and staff on the appropriate vision and redevelopment of Nashua with a clear direction and image for its future, the strategies and tactics needed to achieve that vision in an easy-to-read and legally defensible document. Multidisciplinary teams, which may be a single firm or a consultant team consisting of individuals and/or firms with specialized expertise, are encouraged to submit a proposal. It is anticipated that work will begin in the spring of 2020 and the finished product will be adopted by the City in spring/summer of 2021. This RFQ is a competitive process to select a proposer that best meets the needs of the City based on qualifications, service, capabilities, and prices as well as other factors. This RFQ contains instructions governing the proposals to be submitted, the materials to be included, and the requirements that must be met to be eligible for consideration.

The City of Nashua, Division of Public Works, is seeking bids for the 2020 Paving Program – Contract (2). The scheduled work is located in various areas throughout the City of Nashua and consists primarily of pavement overlaying, pavement milling with overlay, and pavement reclamation. The City of Nashua reserves the right, for the Street Paving portion of the contract, to substitute streets of a similar nature or to add additional streets subject to contract amendment process. Contractor shall ensure that its activities and activities of its employees are in strict compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency, all applicable federal, state and local statutes, ordinances, regulations and rules, including without limitation, the Federal OSHA of 1970, as amended and the standards and regulations issued hereunder, and all other statues, ordinances, regulations, rules, standards and requirements of common law in relation to industrial hygiene and safety, and the protection of health and the environment. The City of Nashua would like to emphasize the importance of construction work zone safety. The City of Nashua has adopted the provisions of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for work zone safety. Unless otherwise indicated in this contract, the contract shall follow the requirements of the MUTCD at all roadway construction work zones. The anticipated Commencement date for the contract is on or about March 20, 2020. Project will begin once a written “Notice to Proceed” is issued.

The Contract will be awarded following approval by both the Board of Public Works and the Board of Aldermen. The scheduled work for the 2020 Sewer Replacement Project consists of work on sewer line replacement on Crescent St, Crown St, Factory St, Fifield St, Locust St, Orange St, Reed Ct, Summer St, Vine St, and Whitney St; drain line replacement work at Emmett St, and sewer point repairs at various locations throughout the City. Work includes approximately 3000 linear feet of sewer and drain line replacement, replacement of sewer service connections, replacement of sewer manholes and catch basins, and miscellaneous other sewer and roadway trench patching items.
