The City of Nashua, Division of Public Works, is seeking sealed bids for the work as set forth in the attached plans and specifications for the expansion of the existing gas collection and control system at the Four Hills Landfill, 840 West Hollis Street, in Nashua, New Hampshire. The scheduled work includes installing new horizontal gas collectors, installing new vertical gas collectors with liquid pumping systems, and decommissioning selected vertical wells in the active Phase I/II Expansion Landfill.

This project involves the reconstruction of an existing boat ramp on the Merrimack River and construction of a gravel parking lot, ADA accessible pre-loading platform, three bioretention ponds, stone lined swales and two small precast concrete gravity block retaining walls. An existing gravel access road will be converted to a footpath with a 3-ft width being converted from gravel to grass. Work also includes construction of a direct gravel access road to the site, designed and constructed by the City but included as part of this project.

Nashua Police Department is soliciting proposals from professional architectural/engineering consultants for services to assist with design and engineering of HVAC system upgrades and repairs based upon a HVAC Assessment performed by SMRT project #18175-00 (Exhibit A) and Carey’s Small Arms Range Ventilation Assessment dated January 29, 2019 (Exhibit B). Our highest priority is enhancing our services to customers outside the building through mobile circulation, accepting online payments, a robust app that is easy to use and offering fully integrated access to our digital collections through the OPAC or a state of the art discovery layer.
