The City of Nashua procured Dennis Mires of The Architects out of Manchester, NH to develop designs and construction documents for a renovation project at 18 Mulberry Street, Nashua, New Hampshire, which is home to the city’s public health and community services departments. The proposed renovation will breathe new life into the building. The main focus of the work is on deferred capital maintenance, code compliance and addressing major items such as roofs, HVAC and the building’s envelope with door and window replacements. There is limited funding available for this project, which will make it essential that a highly developed budget is accurately conceived along with a need for a construction manager that can keep the project on track by ensuring that the scope as defined early on in the design process is adhered to by all parties.
