RFP for Southeast San Rafael Specific Plan
The City of San Rafael is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from qualified consultants to provide:    -Consulting services for preparation of the Southeast San Rafael Specific Plan.   -Environmental Review and Technical support services related to the Southeast San Rafael Specific Plan.   This RFP covers the completion of a Specific Plan for the Southeast San Rafael/Canal Priority Development Area.  The City was awarded a One Bay Area Grant (OBAG) in July 2023 to undertake this project and seeks a consultant or consulting team to prepare the Plan, CEQA documentation and related technical studies.      The City invites interested consulting firms and individuals to submit proposals for consideration. Interested proposers are required to return all required requests for proposal documents as part of their submitted proposal. Any proposer who wishes their proposal to be considered is responsible for making certain that the proposal is received in the Community and Economic Development Division office by the proper time. Proposals received after the scheduled submittal deadline will be rejected.

The City of San Rafael (City) hereby requests proposals for vegetation management services from qualified businesses that are duly registered and licensed with either a C61-D49 or C27-D49 license in the State of California. Services shall include routine tree and vegetation services, Wildfire Fuel reduction services, and Emergency on-call tree services, and/ or specialized equipment services as required by the San Rafael Fire and Public Works Departments and shall be performed on an on-call basis. Typical services include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Tree removal 2. Branch trimming 3. Brush removal 4. Brush chipping 5. Stump grinding 6. Herbicide Application 7. Debris removal 8. Erosion Mitigation 9. Emergency on-call vegetation removal 10. Albert Park Netting and Fencing
The project consists of the removal of existing fencing and netting, installation of approximately 275 linear feet of 30-foot-tall protective netting with foundations, and installation of approximately 133 linear feet of chain-link fence around a portion of the Albert Park baseball field. Engineer's Estimate: $210,000.

North San Rafael Pavement Maintenance
The Project is located in the Terra Linda community of North San Rafael and is described as follows: the removal of existing striping; the placement of crack seal, fiberized slurry seal, and fiberized micro-surfacing on various roadways; and the installation of new striping.
