Request for Proposals for Land Development Engineering Professional Services Agreement
The City of San Rafael hereby requests proposals for Professional Services for the City’s various Land Development Engineering tasks to support the Department of Public Works and Community Development Departments.
Professionals shall be duly registered and licensed for their discipline within the State of California. Work will include: engineering review and support for land development, mainly private development projects, subdivisions (lot line adjustments, major and minor) and site plans (residential, commercial, industrial and mixed use). This may include review of application documents, technical reports, plans and maps, provide written staff reports, attendance at public hearings, meetings with applicants, collaboration with various City departments, the public and stakeholders, scheduling, inspection, and recordkeeping.

San Rafael High School at Third Street Crosswalk Improvements Project
The project is located at San Rafael High School and Third Street, and involves the installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon system (HAWK), construction of new curb ramps, curb and gutter, and other miscellaneous flatwork, utility adjustment, storm drain pipe installation, irrigation and landscaping, and installation of signage and striping.
Engineer's Estimate: $470,000
Bid Submission:
The City of San Rafael will accept electronic bid submittals using Bid Express by or before July 29, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on a Zoom Meeting. Information including the project documents and a How To guide for first-time Bid Express users can be found on the San Rafael Bid Express home page at https://www.bidexpress.com/businesses/39341/home. Please note that you will have to register for a free Bid Express account to view project solicitations and download documents.
