The City of Nashua, NH invites qualified firms to submit bids for construction related to the Sewer Replacement Kinsley Street. The Contract will be awarded following approval by both the Board of Public Works and the Board of Aldermen. On Kinsley Street, sewers need rehabilitation in two areas. From Elm Street to Vine Street, the sewer and associated infrastructure will be replaced. Between Ritter Street to Woodward Street, the sewer will be lined (done by another contractor) and the laterals, catch basins and manholes will be rehabilitated.

The City of Nashua, NH, herein referred to as “the City”, is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the Heritage Rail Trail Connection to Mine Falls Park. The project includes construction of multi-use trail and pedestrian bridge. The trail will consist of an ADA complaint ramp from the Heritage Trail to an at-grade path along the western side of Everett Street. This path will cross Ledge Street at a new cross walk with new rapid rectangular flashing beacons to access the small existing park between Ledge Street and the Nashua Canal. A short section of proposed concrete sidewalk will transition from the existing brick pavers in the park to the 90-foot single span prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge supported on helical piles and a reinforced concrete stub abutment. The engineer’s estimate for the work is between $300,000 and $375,000. The anticipated project schedule is to start construction in summer 2018 and complete construction in fall 2018.

As more residents sign contracts to improve energy efficiency and/or go solar with the partner installer prior to the campaign deadline, prices will be reduced for everyone. Work includes 2,875 feet of 12 inch pipe CIPP lining, 1,620 feet of 15 inch pipe CIPP lining, 2,390 feet of 18” pipe CIPP lining, 505 feet of short liner point repair in pipes varying from 8 inch to 24 inch diameter, 375 vertical feet of manhole lining, and miscellaneous other items related to pipe lining work.

The City of Nashua, NH will receive separate sealed bids for a procurement contract to supply two (2) Natural Gas Fired Reciprocating Engine Generators for use as grid connected continuous duty units. Manufacturer shall provide waste heat boilers, jacket water heat exchangers, radiators, and cooling pumps for each generator. Engines shall operate in parallel with each other and with the utility. Engines shall operate on a mixture of digester gas and natural gas with a minimum heating value of 600 btu/scf. Bid price includes delivery to the Nashua Wastewater Treatment Facility and all necessary O & M training.
