Holiday Lighting & Decoration Design Services for Main Street The Office of Economic Development is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms or individuals to provide holiday lighting and decoration design services for Downtown Nashua. Decorations play a critical role in providing a high quality environment for shoppers and residents during the holiday season. Holiday themed décor is seen by a large number of residents and visitors annually as Downtown Nashua is home to the Holiday Stroll, an event that attracts an average of 30,000 attendees. It is anticipated that the selected applicants’ services will be required for a definite period of time but that an extension of an agreement by all parties may be sought based on future appropriations of funding for seasonal decorations in Downtown Nashua. The decorations are intended to enrich the esthetics of the city; enhance the appearance of the streetscape; and strengthen character of Nashua’s historic Main Street from the week before Thanksgiving to the end of December.
