The Project is designed to increase performance and reliability at the City’s Wastewater Pump Stations. The Project will rehabilitate or replace 13 separate wastewater pump stations in a variety of measures that include, but are not limited to structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and control systems (including retaining the services of Electrical Installations, Inc., Moultonborough, NH, (the City’s preferred System Integrator) and all materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. The City of Nashua, Division of Public Works, invites experienced and qualified firms to submit bids for construction related to the Primary Tank Upgrade Project at the Nashua Wastewater Treatment Facility (NWTF), located at 2 Sawmill Road, Nashua NH 03060. The Project includes the installation of new primary sludge collection mechanisms, modifications to primary tank concrete including structural beams, influent ports and sludge wells, construction of a new electrical building (including retaining the services of Electrical Installations, Inc., Moultonborough, NH, the City’s preferred System Integrator), and piping modifications in the Primary Pump Gallery. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the “Notice to Proceed” as follows: 450 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion. 510 consecutive calendar days for final completion. Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $1,000 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for Substantial Completion, and $1,000 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for Final Completion. Bidding Documents can only be purchased from Wright-Pierce as PDFs through the online plan room at www.wright-pierce.com/projects.aspx (Issuing Office). Interested parties will be furnished one PDF download set of Bidding Documents at a cost of $50 per download, which is non-refundable. To be considered a responsive Bidder, the Contractor shall have obtained at least one set of Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. The Bid will not be awarded to a Bidder unless a record for obtaining at least one set of Bidding Documents exists in the Issuing Office. To meet this requirement and to establish the record of receipt, a prospective Bidder must obtain Bidding Documents using the name that is to appear on the Bid Form.

There will be a pre-submittal meeting on Tuesday, October 30th, at 11:30am at Nashua City Hall in Room 208. Attendance to this meeting is not mandatory but encouraged. The City of Nashua (herein after, “the City”) is presenting a rare and unique opportunity for a qualified management entity to join in as a strategic partner at the ground level to help create and ultimately operate a Performing Arts Center (“PAC”) in downtown Nashua. This opportunity commences with the issuance of this Request for Proposals (RFP) through which qualified management entities (“Proposers”) are invited to present their qualifications, management plans and documents indicating financial backgrounds, their vision, plans and abilities to be the exclusive manager of the PAC. The City will evaluate proposals in the context of two primary goals: 1. To secure a financially stable entity that will effectively manage, operate and maintain a facility that will result being a first class, vibrant PAC in the heart of Nashua. 2. Use the PAC should support and foster the presentation of artistic and/or cultural activities in The City of Nashua as well to maximize the economic impact of the PAC in downtown Nashua and the entire region, especially in terms of hotel, restaurant and retail patronage. The idea would be of the 3rd party operator to oversee and manage the entire building (except for a space being set aside for a restaurant) this would include the following: o A 500 – 750 Seat - Flexible Space o There is a large basement where storage would be a primary use, but there is opportunity for programming. o An approx. 2,500 square foot space on the 1st floor (identified as Retail/function space) of which approx. 800 sq./ft. shall be used as gallery space o It is the expectation that the 3rd party operator would program the gallery either directly or through a strategic partnership.
