Miscellaneous Drainage Improvements [FY 2026]
Installation of sub-surface drainage improvements and/or new 6"thick PC concrete sidewalks (5' wide typ.) at 6 locations within the corporate limits of Hammond, including about 3,700 LF of storm drain pipes (8"/12" to 24" diameter), 90 EA catch basins; removal/replacement of about 700 SY of 6" th PCC driveways; 3,000 SY of slab-sod; installation of about 880 SY of 6" thick PC concrete sidewalks; and related work including limestone (220 TN), imported Backfill (940 CY); pavement sawcut (1,700 LF); construction/traffic signage; miscellaneous sitework & erosion control; and related work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form, or reasonably implied.
Contract Term: 210 calendar days: Construction Cost Estimate: $1,006,950.00

RFP 27-12 Generator Preventative Maintenance
The scope of work/services include, but are not limited to the inspection and testing of generators located at various locations within the City as described. Also included is generator repair related services. The entire list of generators shall have one (1) major (annual) and three (3) minor inspection and testing each year. Generator maintenance services are to be performed four (4) times a year: one (1) Major Annual (annual) inspection and three (3) minor inspection and testing during course of year. (The City reserves the right to cancel the need for the minor inspection if a funding problem develops.) The City reserves the right to add and/or delete generators that come into and out of service as need be.

It is the intent of the City of Hammond to secure pricing on the Annual Uniforms for Public Safety (i.e. the City of Hammond Police Department). Proposal prices will be for the purchase of the uniforms used by these two departments. No specific quantities are given or guaranteed. All uniform orders will be placed on an "as needed" basis. This contract shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from Proposal award date. Contingent upon the ability of the successful proposer to
honor the quoted proposed prices, the City reserves the right to renew the existing contract for an additional two twelve (12) month periods.
