RFP 27-14 ARCHITECTURAL ASSESSMENT AND STRATEGIC PLAN DEVELOPMENT
The City of Hammond Fire Department (HFD) is seeking proposals from qualified architectural and planning firms to provide a comprehensive Architectural Assessment and Strategic Plan Development. The goal of this initiative is to assess the strategic use, physical condition, and geographic placement of current fire department facilities and to develop a roadmap for facility optimization. The resulting plan should support the HFD’s ability to maintain superior response times and service delivery as the community grows, including recommendations concerning the replacement and/or expansion of current facilities and services. The selected Proposer will partner with the Hammond Fire Department to lead a Comprehensive Needs Assessment and Strategic Planning process. The work shall combine operational data, stakeholder input, facility information, and future growth projections to develop a practical roadmap supporting readiness, resilience, and responsible investment. The Proposer shall also complete a full assessment of existing facilities.

The Hammond Police Department K-9 Unit utilizes canine dogs for patrol/narcotics detection work to ensure the safety of the public in the City of Hammond. The Hammond Police Department is seeking a vendor to provide pure breed basic trained dogs and handler training. It is the intention of these specifications that the vendor hereunder shall furnish and Hammond Police Department shall purchase high quality, trainable and healthy police dogs, suitable for patrol functions, narcotic detection, tracking and apprehension.

Furnish Labor, Equipment and Material to Provide Ready Mix Portland Cement all F.O.B. City of Hammond Locations as needed for the period July 01, 2025 through June 30, 2026. It is the intent of the City of Hammond to secure pricing on Ready-Mix Concrete for use by various City of Hammond Departments.
Proposals prices shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months. At the option of the City of Hammond and acceptance by the supplier, this contract may be extended for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods at the same price, terms and conditions.
