The City of Hammond Fire Department (HFD) is seeking proposals from qualified architectural and planning firms to provide a comprehensive Architectural Assessment and Strategic Plan Development. The goal of this initiative is to assess the strategic use, physical condition, and geographic placement of current fire department facilities and to develop a roadmap for facility optimization. The resulting plan should support the HFD’s ability to maintain superior response times and service delivery as the community grows, including recommendations concerning the replacement and/or expansion of current facilities and services. The selected Proposer will partner with the Hammond Fire Department to lead a Comprehensive Needs Assessment and Strategic Planning process. The work shall combine operational data, stakeholder input, facility information, and future growth projections to develop a practical roadmap supporting readiness, resilience, and responsible investment. The Proposer shall also complete a full assessment of existing facilities.
