WA0413 MKE Rehabilitate Bullseye
This project is for the rehabilitation of pavements and shoulders
inside hold lines of Runways 1L-19R and 7RL-25L at Milwaukee
General Mitchell International Airport (MKE).
Project Completion: The number of consecutive calendar days the contractor has available to substantially complete the project, excluding punch list items is 165 Calendar Days. The intention is to run MKE Rehabilitate Bullseye, MKE North Ramp Rehabilitation and MKE Rehabilitate Taxiway F concurrently with start dates close in proximity.

WA0400 MKE North Ramp Rehabilitation
This project is for the rehabilitation of the North Apron at
Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport (MKE). This project
involves an asphalt mill & overlay, storm sewer structure
replacement and pavement marking.
Additive Alternate: WA0417 MKE Rehabilitate Taxiway F
This project is for the rehabilitation of Taxiway F between
Runways 1L/19R and 7L/25R at Milwaukee Mitchell International
Airport (MKE).
Project Completion: If MKE North Ramp Rehabilitation is awarded, the contractor shall have a total of 137 calendar days to substantially complete the project, excluding punch list. If additive alternative, MKE Rehabilitate Taxiway F is awarded, no additional calendar days will be awarded to the contract:
Base Bid Only = 137 Calendar Days
Base Bid + Alternate = 137 Calendar Days
The intention is to run MKE Rehabilitate Bullseye, MKE North Ramp Rehabilitation and MKE Rehabilitate Taxiway F concurrently with start dates in close proximity.

This project includes pavement rehabilitation or pavement removals on multiple taxiways at Milwaukee County’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE). Included in this contract is substantial grading, construction of underdrains, asphalt, landscaping, pavement marking, and airfield electrical changes.
Project Completion:
If the Base Bid and all two (2) additive alternates are awarded, the contractor shall have a total of 172 consecutive calendar days to substantially complete the project, excluding punchlist. If any or all additive alternatives are not awarded, the total contract time shall be as follows:
Base Bid Only = 111 Calendar Days
Base Bid + Additive Alternative 1 = 111 Calendar Days
Base Bid + Additive Alternative 1 + Additive Alternative 2 = 172
Calendar Days
All contract time includes 31 days for a project shutdown from July 1 through July 31, 2024.

WZ0185: Zoo Humboldt Penguin Exhibit Enhancement
The Milwaukee County Zoo in partnership with Gilbane Building Company will be renovating and expanding the existing Humboldt Penguin Exhibit located at the main entrance of the Zoo. This project will consist of a pool expansion from the existing 10,000 gallons increasing in size to 30,000 gallons (approx.). Included in this expansion is full 100% replacement/upgrade of Life Support System for increased water circulation/purification, increased visitor themed viewing experience (large viewing window) and the incorporation of shade structures for life betterment of the penguins.
