T108-20096: MCTS Kinnickinnic Bus Storage Garage HVAC Replacement
Contract 1: HVAC Replacement
The KK Bus Garage project is an HVAC equipment replacement project that includes demolition of the existing system of nine (9) air handling units and exhaust fans and multiple make-up air units. The new work will consist of adding fifteen (15) make-up air units, multiple exhaust fans, and a modernization of the building controls. A new stair and roof hatch will be added as an alternative for access to the new roof mounted equipment as indicated on contract bid documents, plans and specifications.
One MANDATORY Pre-bid meeting will take place on February 10, 2021 at 10:00 A.M., meet at MCTS Kinnickinnic Bus Storage Building, 1710 South Kinnickinnic Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. Meetings and site walk through will be conducted in small groups. Masks, Health Screening, and Social Distancing are required.

Work consists of pulverizing existing asphalt, re-grade, and provide new asphalt pavement, concrete walk, curb and gutter, pervious paver, bio-filtration basins, and turf restoration as indicated in the project Bid documents.
Work of the project shall be Substantially Complete as follows:
Construction of the project shall begin by 6/1/21 (or earlier if possible), and shall be substantially completed by 8/27/21. Landscaping shall be substantially completed in the fall in accordance with specification planting timeframes.
