Lock Park Restroom Demolition and Replacement DR016
This scope of work involves the replacement of the existing restroom structures at Lock Park. Due to severe storm damage to the existing structural clay tile walls, it has been determined by the design architect and structural engineer that repairs to this existing structure are not feasible due to the extent of damage and the existing material used in the original building design. Should these elements get damaged during demolition or are deemed unusable for reuse, the new design will include replication of these exterior design elements so as to replicate the building exteriors as closely as possible to the original design.
The design shall include new plumbing piping set in a new concrete foundation. Walls shall be CMU bearing walls with a new stucco exterior finish matching the existing building finishes and colors. Interior finishes shall include ceramic tile floors and walls to the height of the doors with painted drywall above with a new drywall ceiling mounted on new wood framed construction for the roofing structure with plywood decking, weatherproofing, and new roofing to match the existing.
