This will require the installation of a submersible well pump, drop piping, pitless adaptor, sanitary seal well cap, and necessary appurtenances required to convey groundwater from the existing well source. Raw water distribution piping will be installed to connect the groundwater source to the District Office. A water treatment system will be constructed to provide disinfection, oxidation, greensand plus filtration, water storage, and pressurization. A backwash disposal system will be constructed to properly remove all regenerated water from the treatment process. Pavement Rehabilitation of Multiple Roadways French Creek State Pak Union Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania The work for this project will consist of repair, reclamation and repaving of the sections of the existing paved roadway and other incidental construction of Park Road (North and South Section), Cabin Road, Scott Run Road, Scott Run Road Loop, Loop Road, and Campground Road (North and South section) as specified in the plan located within French Creek State Park, Union Township in Berks County. The work included under this contract consist of repair and repaving of the sections of the existing paved roadway tie-in with other existing roads, black top overlay of roads, and mill and overlay, construction of 2-ft wide 2A shoulder on both sides of the roadway, removal, and replacement of six (6) existing culvert pipes, stabilizing of two (2) outlet protection with riprap, the cleaning of the thirty-six (36) of the existing culverts, and stabilizing of a existing rock lined parallel ditch as indicated on the Contract Drawings. The work also includes maintenance and protection of traffic, erosion and sediment control measures and all miscellaneous incidental work. Rehabilitate Park Roads Sizerville State Park Portage Township, Cameron County, Pennsylvania Portage Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools, equipment, and miscellaneous items, and performing all work necessary to complete all construction to the satisfaction of and subject to the approval of, the Department. This contract consists of the following work: a. Traffic control throughout the work area. b. Pavement base repairs in all paved areas of the park at locations as directed by the Department’s representative. Pavement base repairs will include full depth milling and removal of all existing bituminous pavement courses and furnishing, spreading, and compacting 25 mm Asphalt Base Course, PG 64-22 to match or exceed the existing base course depth with a 3-inch minimum depth. Pavement base repairs may be performed on a limited basis for small areas by neatly sawcutting and excavating. Pavement base repair areas may also include the removal of any existing subgrade material and replacement with compacted No. 2A coarse aggregate subbase at a depth of 4-inches. At locations where no further pavement overlay will be placed, base repair areas shall be finished with a 1.5-inch minimum compacted depth course of 9.5 mm Asphalt Wearing Course, PG 64-22 to match the existing grade of the adjacent pavement. c. Furnishing, spreading, and compacting a 1.5-inch minimum depth overlay of 9.5mm Asphalt Wearing Course, PG 64-22. d. Furnishing, spreading, and compacting shoulder material along both edges of roadways in areas with new pavement overlay.
