City of Lake Charles, Louisiana Muirfield Drive Drainage-Phase II Project No. 2025-748 Capital Project No. 3224 The general scope of work for Muirfield Drive Drainage Phase II consists of the installation of approximately 1400 linear feet of 36” diameter storm drainage pipe to augment the existing drainage system. This pipe installation begins on the west side of Lot 19 of Turnberry Row subdivision and continues to the west line and into Lot 5 of the Muirfield Village Phase One subdivision. This additional drainage system will be installed along and within the limits of the Lake Charles Country Club Golf Course boundary.

This bridge exhibited various defects shortly after it was constructed in 2014. These defects included road pavement settlement, broken tie-rods, drainage pipe/box failures, etc. This project’s repair scope includes: • Construction of a new concrete deadman tie-rod anchor assembly to restore support to the sheet pile wall; • Replace failed drainage concrete pipe and boxes; • Removal and replacement of reinforced concrete pavement; • The associated traffic management, including detour signage.

City of Lake Charles Wastewater Treatment Plant A Basin A-08 Rehabilitation Capital Project Number CP3367 I. Scope of Services: The City of Lake Charles WWTP ‘A’ is currently under a Compliance Order (CO) with LDEQ. The approved CO schedule requires the rehabilitation of 13 sub basins in the WWTP ‘A’ Basin. The Sub Basins have been prioritized and ranked in order of severity of condition through wastewater modeling of the system. A. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: A. Base Bid: a. There is approximately 12,197 LF of 8-inch and 930 LF of 12-inch gravity sewer pipeline to be rehabilitated as part of this project. Rehabilitation methods include point repairs, pipe bursting, open cut replacement, installation of new manholes, and manhole lining. Also included within this contract is the reinstating of approximately 229 active sewer service laterals. B. Alternate No. 1: a. There is approximately 1,916 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer pipeline to be rehabilitated as part of this project. Rehabilitation methods include point repairs, pipe bursting, installation of new manholes, and manhole lining. Also included within this contract is the reinstating of approximately 33 active sewer service laterals. C. Alternate No. 2: a. The University area is one of the oldest areas in the City of Lake Charles. Wastewater flow studies have indicated excessive inflow and infiltration during rain events, causing peak flows up to 14 times the average daily wastewater rate. B. Based on review of CCTV data of the Sub-Basin, recommendations for repair have been made and a cost estimate has been developed. C. This scope of work covers the repair of the collection system in the University – Red Sub-Basin Sewer Rehabilitation Project. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: a. Base Bid: i. There is approximately 8,418 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer pipeline to be rehabilitated as part of this project. Rehabilitation methods include point repairs, pipe bursting, open cut replacement, installation of new manholes, and manhole lining. Also included within this contract is the reinstating of approximately 145 active sewer service laterals. b. Alternate No. 1: i. There is approximately 1,605 LF of 8-inch gravity sewer pipeline to be rehabilitated as part of this project.
