 Sodium Hypochlorite Bulk Delivery ----- St. Tammany Parish, as a function of the Department of Utilities, owns and operates approximately fifty (50) wastewater treatment plants, forty (40) water wells, over two hundred (200) sewage lift stations, and miles of water distribution and sewage collection lines. 
	
Parish requires the Provider to supply and deliver 12.5% liquid sodium Hypochlorite (12.5 Trade Percent Available Chlorine) on an as-needed basis FOB destination in accordance with the American Water Works Association’s Standard B-300-04 for hypochlorite to container delivery sites as listed below in section II, as requested by the Parish. 
Deliveries are to be made no later than forty-eight (48) hours after receipt of the order.  Estimated ordering will be every five (5) to seven (7) days and may not include all sites per order. The estimated delivery sites per week will be 22-29 sites. The estimated volume of purchases for water in 2022, is one hundred thousand (100,000) gallons and the estimated volume of purchases for wastewater in 2022, is fifty thousand (50,000).
	
The delivery of the product must be done with an FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) tank truck with an onboard air compressor that delivers the product based on air pressure and requires no pumps or gravity. Packaging and shipment of the product and placarding of the delivery truck shall conform to the current regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation and other federal, state, and local requirements.
	
A Parish staff member will escort the Vendor to all delivery sites. The Provider must contact the Parish one (1) hour prior to arrival at the first delivery site of the day to schedule a meeting with Parish staff for delivery.
	
A Materials Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) shall be provided to each location of delivery of the Products before the delivery of the first shipment and again as amendments or changes to MSDS are made. 
Provider shall be responsible for the clean-up of any spills or overflows of Sodium Hypochlorite resulting from the delivery and filling of Department of Utilities storage tanks. 
Prices should be per gallon of 12.5% sodium hypochlorite (Product) and must reflect bulk delivery to Parish bulk container delivery sites as requested and determined by the Parish.  The price must include all charges and no additional fuel charges or other fees will be added to invoices.
