This project will design and construct a new kitchen of approximately 1400 gross square feet utilizing an existing custodial break room, office, mail storage, vending area, and corridor space on the first floor of the Wallace-Wilson Commons. South Side Eats, currently located in C1220, will relocate to the new kitchen space, a new custodial break room will be constructed in C1220, and vending will move to an open area along the corridor to the east. The scope of work includes demolition of interior space including walls, casework, and finishes. New work will include new walls, casework, kitchen equipment, finishes, and updated mechanical and electrical work to support the remodel.

This project will replace the Pearson 4.16kV Substation gear along with medium voltage cabling in order to increase capacity and reliability. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: demolishing existing switchgear and medium voltage cabling; purchasing and installing new switchgear and cable; and performing commission testing on the newly installed gear and cable. Additionally, support from our High Voltage (HV) Electricians will be required to perform terminations at the new gear and existing switches.

This project will remodel rooms 2592, 2594, and 2951 in Food Sciences Building. The scope of work incudes: Room 2951: Remove the existing cabinets, countertops, ceiling, lighting, flooring, and the Ansell fire suppression hood and system. Install stainless steel counters from the Health Nutrition Science Building, along with new vinyl flooring, lay-in gypsum ceiling, new lighting, sinks, dishwashers, an icemaker, mop sink, new hoods, ductwork, and walls will be patched and painted. Room 2592: Remove existing testing millwork, ceiling, flooring, sprinklers, diffusers, lights and switches. Install new acoustical ceiling, sheet vinyl flooring, patch and repaint walls, diffusers, new color changing lights, power for a TV, chairs and movable desks. Room 2594: Remove, flooring, sprinklers, diffusers, lights and switches. New sheet vinyl flooring, patch and repaint walls and ceiling, sound seals for doors, diffusers, exhaust and make-up air for odor control, and new lighting with dimming and color control.

This project allows for a large workshop and meeting space for students and staff in Room 1116. Office space, smaller workshop spaces, and open collaboration spaces will be created for students and staff in Room 1138. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to architectural changes to enlarge spaces, furniture placement in meeting and collaboration spaces, and AV, mechanical, and electrical work as needed.

The contractor will furnish and install a complete stainless steel laboratory gas piping system including tubing, fittings, valves, regulators, supports, and labeling for an Owner-provided Nitrogen Tank system, using clean installation practices and orbital welding where applicable. Work will comply with ASME B31.3, NFPA 55, and local codes, include full coordination with other trades, and conclude with pressure testing, leak checking, purging, commissioning, and delivery of as‑built documentation.
