This project includes, but is not limited to, remodeling the exterior front entry railings, door and frame, side windows, and threshold. Also included is the interior remodeling of the wood trim, doors, flooring and windows, and painting the common spaces throughout the home.

This project will replace roof sections A, B, C, D, E, G, H, and I at MacKay Hall. These sections of the roof are 18-year-old EPDM systems. This project includes, but is not limited to, replacement of the roof with a system designed for a minimum life expectancy of 30 years, roof insulation to meet current energy codes, roof safety improvements as needed to meet current university standards, skylight replacement, masonry repairs, tuckpointing, caulking of all features, roof curbs and parapet walls above the roofline to prevent water infiltration through these critical connections, and roof access improvements as needed to meet current university standards.

This project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of heating and cooling units, removal of vinyl floor tile and replace with new flooring, removal of plastic laminate countertops and replacement with solid surface countertops, replace damaged base cabinet doors, modification of kitchen cabinets for a new oven range and hood, installation of a garbage disposal, replacement of fiberglass reinforced panels in room 1053, refinishing wood windowsills, painting rooms, repairs to EIFS and miscellaneous masonry damage, cleaning the exterior, and replacement of exterior sealant joints.

This project includes, but is not limited to, the improvement of faculty office utilization in the College of Design. This project would provide for remodeling of faculty working environments and improve the types of spaces that could support faculty through single offices, double offices, and collaboration spaces. Architectural and interior design services will be provided to review office furniture configurations and interior finish updates at these spaces.

This project includes, but is not limited to, the remodeling of rooms 2242 and 2280 of the Hixson-Lied Student Success Center to accommodate the relocation of the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) testing center. Work includes demolition of interior space including existing casework, chair rails, doors, flooring, and wall base. New work includes patching and repairing walls, new paint, doors, lockers, security cameras, testing station furniture, and mechanical and electrical work to support the remodel. New office furniture for the staff is also included.
