• Construction of New Blower Building for Process Equipment.
• Removal and Replacement of Air Blowers and Header Piping for Aerated Digestion.
• Construction of New Motor Control Center.
• Reconstruction of Existing Sludge Pump Station.
• Construction of New Sludge Processing Building.
• Installation of Screw Presses for Solids Processing.
• Installation of Dewatering Polymer Feed System.
• Installation of Conveyance System for Solids Handling/Disposal.
• Interconnections to Owner’s SCADA for Control/Monitoring.
• Miscellaneous Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Work as Required to Complete the Work.

The general scope of work for Muirfield Drive Drainage Phase II consists of the installation of approximately 1400 linear feet of 36” diameter storm drainage pipe to augment the existing drainage system. This pipe installation begins on the west side of Lot 19 of Turnberry Row subdivision and continues to the west line and into Lot 5 of the Muirfield Village Phase One subdivision. This additional drainage system will be installed along and within the limits of the Lake Charles Country Club Golf Course boundary.

The general scope of work for this project is the repair of the Sale Road bridge over Lateral L-2A of Contraband Bayou. This bridge exhibited various defects shortly after it was constructed in 2014. These defects included road pavement settlement, broken tie-rods, drainage pipe/box failures, etc. This project’s repair scope includes:
• Construction of a new concrete deadman tie-rod anchor assembly to restore support to the sheet pile wall;
• Replace failed drainage concrete pipe and boxes;
• Removal and replacement of reinforced concrete pavement;
• The associated traffic management, including detour signage.

The work consists of the installation of new traffic signals, complete and operable,
including but not limited to actuated traffic controller, pull boxes, poles, mast arms,
foundations, conduits, luminaire support, cables, wire, connection fees, coordination with
Entergy and City of Lake Charles Traffic Department, and the removal of existing traffic
signals. This new equipment is to be installed at the intersection as shown on the plans.
Unless otherwise specified, all materials shall be new.
Existing equipment to be removed shall be removed in such manner as to avoid damage
to said equipment, and proper care and protection shall be exercised after its removal.
All incidental parts which are not shown on the plans, or specified herein or in the Special
Provisions, and which are necessary to complete the traffic signal or other electrical
systems or required for modifying existing systems, shall be furnished and installed as
though such parts were shown on the plans or specified herein. All systems shall be
complete and in operation to the satisfaction of the Engineer at the time of final
acceptance.
