RETENTION OF DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FIRMS PROJECT REFERENCE NO. FDC-500-825 The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (“Department” or “DCNR”), is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) from interested and qualified design professional firms (“Consultant” or “Offeror”) for an Open-End Contract or Contracts for various architectural, landscape architectural, and engineering design services. The contract or contracts will be for a 12-month period with four 12-month extensions possible. Projects will be assigned on an as-needed basis to ensure proper and safe operations of the Department’s infrastructure and facilities. The contract or contracts will be managed by the Department’s Bureau of Facility Design and Construction (“Bureau”). The number of Open-End Contracts and the dollar amount of each contract will be at the discretion of the Department for the first year. The extent of the work for the subsequent four years of the contract will be dependent on the availability of additional funds and additional projects for those years, also at the discretion of the Department. Proposals will only be accepted from individuals, firms, or corporations duly authorized to engage in the practice of architecture and/or engineering. If an individual, firm, or corporation not authorized to engage in the practice of architecture and/or engineering desires to submit a proposal said individual, firm, or corporation may do so as part of a joint venture with an individual, firm or corporation which is permitted under state law to engage in the practice of architecture and/or engineering in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The design professional firm may be an architectural/engineering firm, an engineering/architectural firm, an architectural firm with landscape architectural and engineering sub-consultants, or an engineering firm with architectural and landscape architectural sub-consultants.

DGS 142-6, PH 1, Park Improvements; DGS 142-7, Ph 1, Stream Corridor Restorations Ryerson Station State Park Richhill Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania Site improvements including an access road and new bridge across old lakebed, loop trail, parking, pavilions, play area, comfort station, pedestrian bridge, paddle craft launches, fishing docks and utility updates and extensions. Stream restoration including floodplain excavation, main channel and kayak trail construction, bank armoring, installation of habitat pools and pond construction. DGS 142-8, PH 1, Dam Removal Ryerson Station State Park Richhill Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania Project includes the installation, maintenance, and removal of erosion and sediment control measures. Installation, implementation, and coordination of traffic control plan, and removal at completion of construction. Stripping and stockpiling topsoil. Demolition of existing concrete dam and associated infrastructure. Control of surface water and dewatering of subgrades in areas of work. Excavation and placement of select fill, topsoil and seeding in all disturbed areas upon completion of the dam removal. Rehabilitate Sewage Treatment Plant Parker Dam State Park Huston Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania Electrical Contract work covers the wiring and panel installation of all proposed units including an influent screw screen, equalization pumps, and blower, along with the procurement, installation, and integration of a new SCADA system. Work shall include coordination with the electrical, telephone, and internet service providers, installation of all necessary pathways/conduits, and all related appurtenances and restoration.
