This project will replace the existing 85kW indoor open-frame natural gas generator in VMRI 40 with a similarly sized outdoor natural gas generator with weather and sound-insulated housing. Electrical scope incudes a new panel, new power services to support lab equipment, new lighting, and new fire alarm devices. Fire protection scope includes removal and re-installation of sprinkler piping and heads in the space.
