The project consists of, but is not limited to, removal of the existing gravel and some of the compacted subgrade material from the existing north parking lot, placing the removed gravel to the proper elevation, and installing bioasphalt surface. Work also includes the removal of a small amount of a concrete sidewalk and installing a new concrete sidewalk.

The project consists of, but is not limited to, new fit out space of a previously unoccupied upper floor of six-story research laboratory building. Spaces include research laboratories, associated faculty offices and support spaces. The existing structure consists of a cast-in-place concrete frame. Interiors include gypsum board on metal studs, acoustical ceiling tile, sealed concrete floors, and carpet tile. Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical systems are typical of a laboratory/office building.

The project consists of, but is not limited to, replacing all standard response sprinkler heads with quick response sprinkler heads, upsizing the cross mains, and modifying the main service.

The project consists of, but is not limited to, installing a new secondary 480 volt electrical service from an exterior padmount City of Ames transformer to interior room in building basement, boring a 4” PVC conduit to overhead power pole, installing new service entrance main breaker switchboard, and refeeding the existing 1600A main-tie-main switchboard. Project also includes electrical grounding work, existing pipe demolition in basement mechanical room, new utility metering, transformer concrete pad installation, and provide new light fixtures.

The project consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a new building addition including foundations, building shell, interior finishes, doors, HVAC, and utilities on the north side of the existing Field Services Building. Also included is some interior renovation including restrooms.
